Restaurant trailblazers and culinary pioneers, Stephen Distler and Fia Berisha have made a strong, lasting impact on the suburban dining scenes in both Princeton, New Jersey and King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Alongside five-time James Beard Foundation Semifinalist and Food Activist Chef Scott Anderson, Distler opened elements in the mid-2000’s, providing guests with incomparable service and thoughtful tasting menus. Shortly thereafter; the duo opened Mistral, treating diners to a progressive menu of culturally-inspired shared plates that center around the same superlative focus on fresh and local ingredients found at elements. Berisha joined the team in 2015, overseeing both restaurants operationally and bringing the Mistral and elements visions to fruition.

Leveraging the group’s already established reputation for unparalleled service and the remarkable ability to transform traditional flavor profiles into dynamic new ones, Co-owners Berisha and Distler introduce their newest dining concept: aether.

With the behind-the-scenes help of Anderson and elements’ Chef de Cuisine Michael Ryan, aether offers guests a forward-thinking menu of the freshest fish and seafood our waters have to offer. Mistral King of Prussia’s former Chef de Cuisine, Christopher Boyce, joins the aether team as Head Chef.
